1. Use of YouTube API Services

Bombay Cafe uses YouTube API Services to display curated playlists of music videos, organized by country, genre, artist, and other categories. By using Bombay Cafe, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

2. Information We Collect

Bombay Cafe currently does not require user registration or accounts, and does not collect personally identifiable information simply by browsing the Site.

The following limited, non-personal data may be accessed or processed:

• YouTube playlist and video metadata (titles, thumbnails, video IDs, view/like counts where publicly available) retrieved via the YouTube API, used solely to display playlists on the Site.
• Standard web server/hosting logs (such as IP address, browser type, and access times), collected automatically by our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) for security and operational purposes.

We do not currently use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly before doing so.

3. How We Use Information

Any data described above is used only to operate and display the Site's music playlist features, maintain the security and functioning of the Site, and comply with YouTube API Services Developer Policies. We do not sell, rent, or share user information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Content and Advertising

Bombay Cafe does not currently display third-party advertisements. If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to disclose which third parties serve content or advertisements on the Site before any such content is introduced.

5. YouTube Data Retention

In accordance with YouTube API Services Developer Policies, Bombay Cafe does not store or display statistics retrieved as Authorized or Non-Authorized Data (such as view counts) for longer than 30 days. Playlist data is refreshed regularly to stay current with YouTube's source data.

6. Your Rights

Since Bombay Cafe does not collect personal information through registration, there is no user account data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions, please contact us below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly if we introduce new features such as user accounts, cookies/analytics, or advertising.
